Saskia Franken-Saers is a Dutch selftaught artist who works with traditional mediums like watercolor paint, color pencils and oil paint, but who also works digitally through Procreate and Nomad Sculpt. Her work can be described as surreal fantasy artwork with a variety of subjects ranging from cute to spooky or even creepy. In most artworks there is a reference to life situations she experienced. Saskia hopes to be able to one day be a fulltime artist, next to being a proud preemie mom. Her husband Paul has been encouraging her to pursue her passion for art when she picked up drawing and painting again in 2010. The three of them love traveling, watching movies, making art and music, and goofing around.
